India News – While Corona virus has caused outrage in the country, on the other hand a new form of corona has been detected in India. Scientists have told about the new variant of the corona that it can spread rapidly and can dodge the immunity of humans as well.

A new form of corona virus has been detected in India that can spread rapidly and is able to escape the immunity of the human body. According to the scientists, however, there is no evidence that virus infection in the country or in West Bengal is increasing rapidly due to the redesign.

The new form was first discovered in West Bengal.

The new form is named B.1.618 which is different from B.1.617 and is also known as double mutation virus. It is believed that this pattern is behind the rapid rise in corona virus cases in the second wave in India. B.1.618 is being referred to as triple mutants.

Significantly, in the last 24 hours in India, on Friday (April 22), 3.15 lakh new Corona cases have been reported while 2100 people have died. Scientists believe that cases are increasing globally due to the new Corona variants.

There is no need to worry – said Anurag Aggarwal, director of the CSIR-Institute of Genomic and Integrative Biology (CSIR-IGIB), New Delhi. Standard public health measures are needed. He said that investigation is being done in relation to B.1.618. B.1.618, a redesign of SARS-COV-2, found predominantly in India.

In an effort to address the concerns that have arisen in the country about the ever-increasing corona cases, scientists have emphasized more research and adherence to appropriate covid behavior.

Know what is triple mutation?

The double mutation was encountered in India, which was made up of two strains. After this, triple mutation has now been prepared consisting of three Kovid variants. It has been found in Maharashtra, West Bengal, Delhi. Experts believe that mutations are spreading new infections not only in India but around the world.

More studies will show how contagious or how deadly the triple mutation is. Currently only 10 lab viruses across India are involved in genome studies.
