Metro and Highways in Kerala-Tamil Nadu

• The Kochi (Kerala) metro will cover 11 km at a cost of 1900 crores.

• A 180 km long metro route will be built in Chennai (Tamil Nadu) at a cost of 63 thousand crores.

• 1.03 lakh crore rupees will be spent under the 3500 km National Highways Project in Tamil Nadu. Its construction will start next year.

• 1100 km of National Highways will be built in Kerala. Under this, the Mumbai-Kanyakumari Corridor will also be built. 65 thousand crore rupees will be spent on this in Kerala.

Health: Fund fixed on corona vaccine

• 35,000 crores will be spent on corona vaccine in 2021-22. If needed, more funds will be given.

• Nutrition will also be noted. Mission Nutrition 2.0 will be launched. Will also increase water supply. 2.87 lakh crores will be spent in 5 years.

• Water life mission will be launched for urban areas. 1.48 lakh crore will be spent in 5 years on the Urban Clean India Mission.

• Pneumococcal vaccine (for pneumonia) will be introduced nationwide. With this, the lives of 50 thousand children will be saved every year.

• Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Swasth Bharat Yojana will start with a budget of 64,180 crores. This budget will also be for the treatment of new diseases.

• Wellness centers in 70 thousand villages will be helped by this. Critical care hospitals will be started in 602 districts. The National Center for Disease Control will be strengthened.

• Integrated Health Information Portal will be launched to connect public health labs. 15 health emergency operation centers will be started. 9 Bio Safety Level 3 labs will start.

Farmer: APMC’s JD will have Agri Infrastructure Fund

• Agricultural credit target of 16.5 lakh crore in 2021-22. Operation Green Scheme will cover 22 perishable crops.

• The Agriculture Produce Market Committee (APMC) will also have access to the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund. 5 big fishing harbors will be built in cities such as Kochi, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Paradip and Petuaghat. Multipurpose Sea-Vid Park to be built in Tamil Nadu.
