The first event was organized in 1988 by Larry Shaw in the Francisco who is the founder of this day event, later on this day came into the US in 2009 was officially celebrated as National Pi Day. 

 

Pi Day is celebrated by pronounced 2 similar words that are understand different or you may say spell differently. So that’s why everyone enjoy and have a fun on this day. Pi Day is being celebrated in many ways like eating pie, discussing significant numbers and throwing pies. This event is also celebrated in the memory of Albert Einstein’s birthday on that day (3/14).

 

14th March is considered the most exciting day with regards to mathematically but most of the people in the United State do not like to celebrate this day.

 

Pi Day becomes the people fool in terms of date format. Most of the countries like United Kingdom, Asia, Australia, South Africa use the date format as (Day/Month/Year) which format fails to consider Pi Day.
